· ArcGIS software for data input, data analysis, data processing and map creation
· ERDAS IMAGINE™ for digital image processing of satellite data. Image enhancement, classification and land cover mapping
· Adobe Photoshop and Corel Paint Shop Pro for image creation and image manipulation
· Microsoft Excel for data input, analysis, calculations, graphing and spreadsheet creation
· Microsoft Word to generate reports
· Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations
· Google Earth for data input and figure creation
· National Map Viewer for areal calculations
· Sigmaplot for non-linear curve fitting and scientific data presentation

Laboratory Skills

· Experienced with all basic laboratory procedures (gravimetric and volumetric methods; pH determination, etc.) and safety measures
· Experienced with field work and procedures. More than 20 days of ship experience.
